Renee Jerge is the the Center Director of our Kindercare Center. Ms. Renee graduated from Penn State Behrend with a Psychology degree in 2007 and Mercyhurst University with a teaching certification in 2008. She has her Master's Degree as a certified Reading Specialist from Edinboro University.<br /> <br /> Ms. Renee has worked with children for many years in both the child care and school settings. She has taught grades Pre-K to 6 at Robison Elementary in the childcare program and 3rd grade at Blessed Sacrament School. Also, she has worked for the Barber National Institute running their Camp Connections Program. <br /> <br /> When not with the children Ms. Renee enjoy spending time with friends and family and being outdoors. She likes watching sports, especially hockey, and loves the warm Erie summers!<br /> <br /> Ms. Renee loves being a part of the children’s educational experience and watching them learn and grow and is very excited to be part of the Kindercare Learning Center staff!!
<p><strong> Ms. Erica is our center's Assistant Director who graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2009 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. In November 2010 she graduated from Mercyhurst College with my M.S. in Special Education.<br /> Ms. Erica has worked with children of all ages in various locations. She worked as a preschool teacher at Saint Boniface School, and in the Two’s Room at Saint Vincent Child Care Center. She also coached cheerleading at St. George School for 3 years. </strong><br /> <strong> While she is not working or playing with children, I like to travel, spend time with friends and family, and watch sports. When she has the time, Ms. Erica loves to read books of all kinds and relax. </strong><strong>She is looking forward to working with your children </strong><strong>and hopes to teach them and make a </strong><strong>difference in their lives. </strong></p>
<strong> Ms. Alyssa is one of our Infant room teachers. She graduated from McDowell in 2011 and is currently in school at Edinboro University studying Early Childhood Education. She will graduate this year with her Associate Degree and continue schooling after that.</strong><br /> <strong> Ms. Alyssa has always had a passion for working with children. She says the best feeling is to be able to watch a child grow and learn new things and feels this profession is very rewarding in so many different ways. </strong><br /> <strong> In her spare time she enjoys dancing and cheerleading. She even coaches a team here in Erie and loves every minute of it! Ms. Alyssa joined cheerleading when she was eight years old and now coaching is another rewarding job she gets to experience.</strong><br />
<strong> Ms. Angela is an infant room teacher here at KinderCare who is extremely excited to be a part of the Infant Room family! Since May 2013 she has worked in many of the different classrooms getting to know all of the children throughout the center. </strong><br /> <strong> After graduating high school in 2010, Ms. Angela moved from Ohio to Edinboro to pursue a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. She is also working towards a minor in Special Education and will be graduating in Fall 2014 and will have her Associates Degree at the end of Fall 2013.</strong><br /> <strong> Ms. Angela loves caring for children while helping them learn and discover new materials. She has a passion for teaching, and a love for learning new things. Along </strong><strong>with working at KinderCare, she also works at </strong><strong> the Glenwood YMCA with children in the </strong><strong>Adventure Area. </strong><strong>In her spare time she like skiing and </strong><strong> snowboarding in the winter. During the </strong><strong>summer she enjoys playing volleyball, which she has played </strong><strong>for 12 years now. She has always </strong><strong>had a strong passion for working with </strong><strong>children and will continue to for many </strong><strong>years. </strong>
<strong> Ms. Kristen is the newest member of the Infant Room here at KinderCare who has a passion for working with children and loves getting the chance to work with such wonderful kids.</strong><br /> <strong> Ms. Kristen is a graduate of Edinboro University with a background in Early Childhood Education. She has her Associate Degree in Preschool Education and genuinely loves working with children. </strong><br /> <strong> Her hobbies include biking, reading, and spending time with her friends and family. She is incredibly outgoing and friendly. She loves how rewarding it is to work with children and watch as they progress. Ms. Kristen sees herself working with children as a fulfilling career that will bring her enjoyment and gratification for her entire life. </strong>
