In the Industrial Maintenance and Mechatronics career training program you’ll gain the expertise that is used in a manufacturing environment. This interdisciplinary program combines the classic knowledge of Industrial Maintenance (hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives, welding, machining) with current Electronics and Electrical Systems used in manufacturing today. As a trained technician you’ll be needed for maintenance analysis and diagnosis, troubleshooting electrical and electronic applications, developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs, installing and servicing hydraulics and pneumatics systems, assembly equipment, HVAC and building systems.     HVAC Technicians are vital in modern day homes and buildings. Heating and air conditioning systems control the temperature, humidity, and overall air quality in homes, businesses, and other buildings. They are typically responsible for not only the installation of HVAC systems but also their repair and maintenance. The average day of a HVAC Tech consists of traveling to worksites, following design specifications to install and repair HVAC systems, connect systems to fuel and water supply lines and air ducts, and install electrical wiring and test for proper operation.     Upon completion of the Welding Technology career training program, students will understand the common welding processes and applications at the foundation, intermediate and advanced levels. Students will take welding classes that include blueprint reading, gas metal arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, pipe welding, and welding fabrication. Students will be qualified for entry level employment in the welding field in positions which include Welder, Welding Specialist, Welding Technologist or Welding Engineer. Our school contains 26 welding booths to train in, each equipped with Lincoln Electric Welding equipment.
